Alleviate my headaches with your gently tempered words, I'm forgetting to shut myself out and letting you in instead. Just let me in again.
I will try not to eat you up - stormy weathered skin, you're just a state of my mind.
Thinking about dying here, just for a moment. I'm wondering why I stare into the emptiness.
Stuck with the sound of your lullaby in my head, just rest your mind and go to sleep. You'll feel good again.
You're just a state of my mind.
Your fingertips are matchsticks and your skin gasoline. You make me crave for love. I'm homesick for places that I've never had and never been.
I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
