Dig a hole in your back garden and lay yourself down. Think of all the things you've done wrong and lies told, and words not spoken - things you wished you'd said. If you could do this all again.
Pulsating nightmare - under days of decay. Not in the same bed, no not tonight. The ringing in my ears, there's blood on the bedsheets. Blood red, coloured love - too hot to touch. Oh, please let me gaze longer, a little longer.
Mouth of dust, never take your eyes away so long since I - so long since I opened my mouth.
Mouth of dust - I never took my eyes away, no I never took my eyes away.
Feel the cold shaking your bones all the way through the house - leave the window open.

I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
